Audio-visual duo Glows have dropped a new single in the form of ‘Postpunk’. It’s an interesting piece of experimental music that takes influence from the likes of Four Tet and Godspeed! You Black Emperor. The loop-centric work blends interesting lo-fi samples with an almost whispered lead vocal that creates an eerie, atmospheric sound. Their debut mixtape, LA, 1620, drops later this week and is a truly interesting project. It’s taken six years to create, and combines artifacts from the duo’s early with photographic collages and the music of the mixtape.
